As per the VISA rules, it’s important for citizens outside Australia to obtain a visa for attending the 1st SAFETYNET Scientific conference to be held in Canberra, Australia. With the help of an Australian visa, you can make a short visit to the country to attend conferences.
You may apply for a Business Visitor Stream of Visitor Visa (Subclass 600). The country also provides quick visa service through Electronic Travel Authority (eTA) stream (subclass 601) and eVisitor stream. Since the VISA processing time varies and may go up to 4 months, it is recommended to apply for the VISA at the earliest. For an invitation letter for VISA, you can place the request to the organizing committee of the conference by filling out the Google form (Invitation Request Form).
